When: May 19 at 10AM
Where: Treasure Valley Scout Reservation- Training Lodge in Farm House
Who: Scoutmasters/ Assistant Scoutmasters
With just over 50 days to go before camp begins the camp administration is hard at work to bring more Fun, Adventure, and Achievement this summer! In an effort to communicate with leaders, and to alleviate some burden with registering on the new Black Pug registration system, we will be holding our annual pre-camp leaders meeting on May 19 at 10AM in the training lodge.
We are asking units to bring one adult to talk about important information for units leading up to camp, including necessary forms and billing information, and will give leaders information on pertinent issues such as Merit Badge scheduling and more. Please do not bring more than 2 leaders, as space is limited. We will not be talking in depth about the summer camp program until the individual week meetings (see below). This is not a meeting for youth leaders at camp.
The camp director, program director, and business manager will be in attendance, as well as some support staff personnel to help with individual Black Pug issues and questions. The Early Bird Deadline will be extended through May 19 to accommodate any units who may have had registration issues. Units will be given a welcome packet at this time as well.
Units will be asked to bring the unit leadership team, including 2 unit leaders and a youth leader, or a Scoutmaster and 2 youth leaders, to a pre-camp meeting two weeks prior to the summer camp season to bring medical forms to be checked. Units will also receive logistics for check in and more about particular program information at that time. More information on this will be coming out soon. We look forward to seeing you all on May 19.
If you have any questions in the meantime please reach out to Ryan Mercier at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you all for your continued understanding.
